| I am not very political. Please do not comment on how I should learn more, or get involved.
However, I have many friends and family members that are so against Obama--they say very hateful things and slander him in many ways. That is wrong in and of itself! Now, I don't really know all of the ins and outs of what all they hate so very much about what he is doing with our country, but it doesn't matter who the person is, or what they stand for; we are called to love our enemies. Not just our enemies, but he is our "leader." That means he has even more authority. Romans 13:1-2 says:
"1Every person is to be in subjection to the governing authorities For there is no authority except from God, and those which exist are established by God. 2Therefore whoever resists authority has opposed the ordinance of God; and they who have opposed will receive condemnation upon themselves." Now when I confronted them about this, they responded by saying that when the government goes against God, then you have to take a stand. Well, then I said that the Bible never says that we should only follow the government if they don't go against God. It is my understanding that we should do everything that the government commands unless it is forcing us to sin. But then, when I said that, they said well paying taxes will pay for abortions and that is most definitely sin. I responded by saying, "So if these laws are passed, using your logic, you aren't going to pay taxes. Is that correct?" And she couldn't answer.

| is going very well i must say!
it began with sam accompanying me to virginia at my grandmothers house where i am staying this summer,
kaiti and kari were about to leave liberty to go to turkey, but they hadnt left yet, so we visited them for 2 days,
then we returned, and i hadnt gotten my recertifaction yet so i wasnt working so we had an amazing time chillin and working for my grandma,
then david johns came, and we had some more fun times including some golf 
and sam was there a few more days before going to waco, and david and i got recertified, and started working as lifeguards
its been going pretty well, its a good life, wake up, eat, work out, sit on a stand (get paid), come home relax, sleep
exciting things... TURKEY IS DOING AMAZINGLY!~ hope we defeat croatia on friday
i joined a little soccer club for the summer,
watched the happening, it was pretty sweet i thot
i got a haircut... really short actually, shorter than i have had in the past 5 years since before i went to wales!
my tan is pretty rockin... i must say for someone as white as me
i feel like there is more awesome stuff about this summer, but i cant think of it right now,
oh and another friend, simon babba, is going to arrive here on friday,
and my dad will be here on saturday for a week or two, so that will be fun!!!!!!!!!
